We are DVC members and have a vacation set for the fall to BCV. Some friends we have been away with before have expressed interest in joining us for the vacation. We have shared a 2BR before but with a young baby, we are all probably better off in 2-1BR villas this trip. I have an existing reservations for 5 nights and 1 cash night.
If our friends want to join us, and I get transferred points to make the reservations for them, can I book this second room for them? Since I am going to be there, can I book a second cash night for the Friday night for THEM? I got the 25% off cash price so wondering if I can extend it to their reservation as well? You can call and try. Technically, the member is supposed to be staying in the room to get the member cash discount. However,at least one poster has reported that MS allowed two rooms with the cash discount in a similar situation (member paying points for more than one room and wanted to extend with cash).
