Its amazing how they transform the parks overnight. We were at Hollywood Studios today and it is beautiful. Christmas songs over the loudspeakers and everything. Tons of Christmas merchandise and snacks in the stores.

Can't wait to visit the rest of the parks. Our vacation timing was perfect. We got Halloween AND Christmas.

Final night of Halloween party at MK tonight (I think that's kinda lame, it's OVER) so it won't be Christmas there until tomorrow. We are waiting til Friday or Saturday to go. We want to see the full on version. Met someone in Trader Sams last night that gave us some inside scoop. A few Krakatoas and he was spilling all the beans.

::squeal!!::

Thanks so much for posting this. We leave for Wdw in 10 days and I’m so excited I can’t see straight! :)

We did a trip Halloween to Christmas a couple of years ago and it is awesome!

What kinds of Christmas snacks did they have at HS? Anything new?
Since it's DHS, I bet we hear that the lines for snacks were atrocious (likely because most of the facilities to make them were shut down), that selection was limited to four choices, and that while what they have is good, many people might consider skipping since it's only half the snack experience that they'd get at the other parks.

(But really - if anyone knows I'd like to hear for purposes of planning my December trip).

I love the months of October-December all of the holidays are at the same time and something in the air just feels different. Going to the parks in this time frame have to be one of my favorite with all the decorations, cooler weather it just feels like a different atmosphere.

Are they already turning on the lights on the castle or will this begin on Monday?

Not. sure. Tonight would be the first night. We look out on to the castle so will report back.

They have, in past years, started illuminating the Dream/Ice/Frozen Lights a few days into Nov., but waited to start the lighting ceremony until near to (or on) the first night of MVMCP.

Christmas season at the MK is the best! We visited in November 2015 and loved the castle lighting up.
