Hey everyone!! I got an email from Dan that my name came up...(thanks Dan!)
Spencer is fine...getting big! He will post on his whereabouts in a little while!
Well, yes, I am going thru some difficult times at home. That is coming along. Little too private. Humiliating issues coming to light, at least to me they are. Devastating to my self esteem. But, I am working on it.
My biggest news ever....EVER....I had what is called "workshop" Friday and Saturday. Workshop is what you go to to become a Jazzercise Instructor. And, after 2 months of studying and physical exhaustion from working on 8 routines.....
I PASSED!!
You have no idea what this means to me...well, you stay at home moms who gave up career and most of a social life will understand. I finally have something that is just about me, and what I want. This is BIG BIG BIG for me!!
Workshop went from 8 am until 6:30 pm both days...thank goodness it was at my center that I work at, so I had "home court" advantage! I am also a class manager there, which is actually what got the ball rolling for me to become an instructor. I have never worked so hard for anything in my life...on days I would train, it was nothing for me to burn 1,500 calories. (I have a heart monitor watch that I wear when I work out) So, eating was my second job.
I can't wait, Lori (she owns the center) is adding new classes for me to teach...5:45 am. This is perfect for me because I can be done by 7:00 am and go on to a full time job. (after a shower, of course) So, May 1st is our target to have those classes on the schedule and me teaching M-W-F and then any other classes I am needed in. I can also sub/teach anywhere I am asked to, also.

So, hopefully things will settle down a little...although, now I have to set up my music, DVD and files...this shouldn't be too tough. I am an organizational nut.
I also have to buy my microphone, and an ipod. Jazzercise is switching from CD's to IPODs. The format is much quicker between routines, so your heart rates stay up!
I'll let all you Chicago area DIS'ers know when they start and you'll have to join me!!
We'll have fun!!
