Anchors A Weigh at Vero Beach!

Hi all!

We're headed to Vero Beach this summer for ten days and my son is curious about the fitness facilities. Anyone use this on vacation recently? How would you rate? Tia.

From what I remember, it is a very nice fitness facility-not as roomy as some others at larger resorts, but very adequate. They have machines and free weights, and also a sauna and showers right by the exercise room.

I used it a couple of years ago. It is small but there was only one time that I was in there that someone else was there (it's a small resort). I think there were 3 or 4 treadmills, stairclimbers, bikes and weight-lifting equipment. The resort can also provide him with a bike/running map, if he's into that. He can also rent a kayak for fitness.

And, yes, the jogging trail will be wonderful for several of us. I was thinking that if running outside is too much in the heat we can walk it instead and run in the fitness room.

What is the age to go to the fitness room without an adult? 16????
