Hi Guys

We are staying at the anaheim plaza next month and I have read that there is no internet at the hotel. Anyone know how we can get internet while we are there???

I had an aircard, and now use my phone as a hotspot, but I'm fairly certain that I had a wireless option available. If it wasn't the plaza's then maybe the hotel next doors was available?

I think the phones have a data port. I''m not sure if you need your own cable or ISP.

Don't use the kiosk in the lobby...it was a JOKE! Around $10 for a few minutes of super-slow, interrupted internet.

When we stayed there we could get wireless in our room, it was something like $9.95 per day so we skipped it. :)

When we stayed at the Hilton last year, internet was something like $12.95/day. I just let my netbook bring up available connections, and the hotel next door had an unsecure connection and hooked up just fine. Not going to get into the ethics of it, but I barely used it except to check email...just a few minutes at a time while most people were in the parks.

We tried that with the AP but there was nothing nearby with a free connection. We were just looking something up really quickly too, that's why we decided not to pay the $9.95 fee. :)

We were going to stay at the AP but in the end got a better deal around the corner at Americas Best Value which is on Katella, we got a one bedroom suite with free breakfast, parking and internet and only about a 3 minute walk further for about the same price as a twin queen at AP...

We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza in April and had a horrible time getting internet. We would have even paid for the $9.95 in-room wireless but it was running at turtle speed. Your best bet might be to try going down the street to the McDonald's or something, or if your phone has a data package try using tether.com (you can sign up and get a free week of trial use before having to pay the $50 to buy the program. The tether.com uses your cell phone's data package and bluetooth or a cable to connect the computer to the internet.)

I will bring my own cord and hopefully the data port will work. If anyone gets any additional info I would love it!
