Anyone have experience with this hotel? It's way closer than the other I am thinking of (Hotel Menage) and the parking is cheapier too. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've stayed there several times in the past & recently stayed there for one night. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are large & the pool is great...it's Olympic-sized, and there's a Jacuzzi. The beds are kind of hard/uncomfortable,
but definitely not as bad as some hotel beds I've slept in. Most rooms have either a balcony that's big enough to sit out on, or an enclosed yard/garden area if the room is on the first floor. The walk to & from the Park is about 10 minutes to the gates.

I stay there almost all the time, it's one of the few places that let me bring my dog.

the pool is big, but not olympic size.

As stated, it's an older hotel, they have fridges in all the rooms, very limited air conditioning if your going when it is warm, but I have found it suits my needs just fine as all we use the room for is sleeping and taking a shower.

There was recently a good sized post about this hotel- do a search for "Ahaheim Plaza". :)

I booked this hotel for December since the rates are cheap. If anything else opens up (cough cough HOJO cough cough) for that price or cheaper, I'll be changing it.

We did stay at Hotel Menage (not that you asked) in May and we loved it. If the price was good again we would definitely be staying there again.

I have this hotel booked for my October trip, but we have never stayed there. If something else comes up or good AP rates for onsite pop up I'll change my ressies for for now, we are staying at the AP for $59 a nite!! That's pretty good! :)

I stayed there on a trip with my friend and we didn't bring the kids. It was dingy and older, but close. I found it to be noisy and it wouldn't be my first choice for a family trip, but for cheap and close it was fine.

We stayed a couple of years ago, the pool was too cold to use in October, so the Jacuzzi had seemed like 40 people in it, so couldn't use it either, it wasn't bad for the price, the room we had some old stains and broken tile in the entrance, room was larger than most, we were on the bottom floor and the buildings side by side so they seemed quite noisy most of the time, we were next to the pop machine, so I heard people getting pop all night long.
