Anaheim Plaza Hotel?

We've stayed there a few times. It is clean enough, and the rooms are pretty big. I'd say the pool is very large, compared to the other motels in the area. The walk is pretty short, maybe 7 minutes to the park. The main down side is that they charge for parking, so if you are driving in, be sure to factor that into your price.
Since we've discovered the Hojos (thanks DM) that is the only place we've stayed, but I'd consider going back to Anaheim Plaza Hotel if I couldn't get a great rate at the Hojos.

We got a dirt cheap rate (I think it was $59 per night), but our room smelled and wasn't very nice and my husband said that I am not allowed to pick out the hotels anymore  The location is good though because it is right across the street (just a couple hotels down from the main entrance). I would recommend elsewhere.

I have stayed there a few times. First time, it was excellent!! Second time, the a/c in our room broke and started sending out heat. Front desk moved us to a new room (with a perk-this one had a balcony overlooking a pretty courtyard!) and it was excellent from there on. The pool is ginormous and my kids had a great time in it. We never walked to the parks because we had APs with parking included but it is VERY close, I would say 7-10 minutes. And yes, they charge for parking but they never once charged me. Weird but nice!!!

DH and I stayed there a couple of years ago. The bed was fine. We had a great room over looking a courtyard with the TOT front and center. We could also see the fireworks from our balcony. I think we paid $59/night then. The room was clean. The only problem I remember was with the staff turning off our AC after they had cleaned the room. We were there for 8 days and after they did it the 2nd time, we just hung the DND sign out and no more problems with that.

They didn't charge for parking when we stayed there, but that was a couple of years ago (2005 I think). Their website says parking is $4/day per vehicle.

Have a great trip!

I stay there almost every time we go. They are one of the few places that allow pets and I take my dog with me when I go.

The rooms have always been clean. It is definately an older place, and not all the rooms have AC.

I have never been charged for parking, you have to have a permit they give you on your dash, and I have seen them towing people that did not, but again, haven't been charged.

I would say the walk is very similar in distance to the HoJo, just coming from the other direction.

I've stayed there twice and am saying there again in June. It's one of the older motels, but the rooms are huge and clean and the pool is really big. The walk is 10 minutes at the most! You can't beat the prices either!
