Anaheim Plaza Hotel reviews

We like Anaheim Plaza too. I think I have some pics... yes, a couple. These are from our 10/2006 trip though.

Hmmm... I wonder if they offer a standard 10% discount if you are an AAA member. (?)

Anyone know what the beds are like in terms of comfort?

I would never stay there again, unless it was super cheap, like less than $40/night and only for 1 night (since I can pretty much deal with any room/bed for just a night) We got the "family suite" which is really just 2 adjoining rooms. Everyone said the beds sucked, my back was so sore after sleeping there for 3 nights! And there were HUGE spiders in both of our rooms and I had a long black hair wrapped up in my bath towel EWW!

We stayed in a family suite which is just two connecting rooms and had no problems. It was a huge room with tons of space and the large bathroom counter but no balcony or patio (the back building). My preferred place is Park Place as it's just across the street however, Anaheim Plaza has now taken over that spot as I'd rather save the $100 a night for food/souvenirs.
The walk is mostly in front of DCA on Disney's sidewalk so felt very safe for me walking alone (after getting drenched on Splash) at night. Lots of people at night sitting in the parking lot picking kids up.

We never ate there though as we took breakfast bars and juice from home so we could make a quick getaway in the morning to the parks.

It's not all that close, it's across the street and and then another block and half. If you stay here, be sure to upgrade. The basic rooms are tiny and the beds are terrible. The parking may be worth it though, they have tons and its only 4 bucks a night and you can park till midnight.

I stayed here last minute in May for the Star Tours early access contest, so for a last minute trip and for the price, it was fine. The staff is really nice. It was clean. I would stay here again if I really wanted to save a lot of money, but really for only like 30 more bucks you can stay a lot closer.

Or better yet, just cough up the extra money and stay at the DLH.

Great place to stay; not only for the money but for where it is as well. Have staied there a few times, and wil again in the future. No, its not the Hilton or Hyatt, but you do not have the daily price as well.

Only complaint was we staied there in March a few years back and the pool was not heated then, but was told that there was a problem with the heater.

We have used the family suite a few times and have been very pleased.

Dont think you will be disappointed. :)

We stayed there in October 09 and it was fine, nothing spectacular but the only complaint we had was the water temp fluctuated while we were in the shower.
We just got back yesterday from a week at DL, we had a split stay, the second half was at the AP, the room was fine, large and comfortable for us but the water temp still fluctuated while we were showering. Not enough to make me never stay there again, just enough that we noticed it. :) The pool was great, it's HUGE, they should have more than one hot tub and I'd love it if they put some grills in the pool area for guests to use but I have no major complaints with it. We paid $75 per night for a Thurs-Sat night stay.
