Anaheim or Boston?

I really don't care who plays my Cardinals in the WS, but I'm kind of pulling for Boston. I want them to beat the Yankees!!! They're doing pretty well so far: 5-0 now.

Who are you cheering for?

Boston over Anaheim. Boston at best splits in Anaheim. But, with Pedro pitching? Will be tough for the Angels.

I think Minnesota beats NY. It's a 5 game series and the Metrodome is a tough place to play. With the Twins throwing Santana twice? I can see it happening...

The Cards beat the Dodgers. The Dodgers suck.

The Astros beat the Braves. Can't see Atlanta having the picthing to win.

Boston beats the Twins.

And, while I'm a Cards fan, they don't have any pitching that scares anyone in a 7 game series. With Houston throwing Clemens twice? I see Houston winning.

So, now we have Houston and Boston in the WS..

Ready for the ultimate heartbreak Boston fans??? Clemens beats the Red Sox AT FENWAY in the 7th Game..

hmmm...I was born in st. louis so was brought up with the cardinals, was a huge fan back in the 80s but haven't kept up. Lived in Boston for several years, dh is born and bred boston sox fan. I'll be happy either way, but will lean a little towards the sox.

Bill Simmons ( a sports writer on ESPN.com, and originally from Boston) wrote an article on this, about Game 7, Halloween night, Fenway Park, and the fact that the Red Sox now have a relief pitcher named, get this, Mike Myers (like the horror movie guy, Michael Myers. YIKES)

I too am a lifelong Sox fan. Going to try and take a nap tonight, so I can stay up til 1am or so to watch tonight's game.

According to weather.com, it should be in the mid-70's for tonight's game in Anaheim, so Pedro should be okay. Hopefully that means that Arroyo closes them out on Friday.
