Has anyone stayed here (it's a brand new hotel)??? Just wondering the distance and how good the transportation was to the parks..

We are going next week (last minute trip) & haven't made any reservations yet. We are considering staying here as they have a deal for $89 for AP holders (same deal for AAA holders I think). I'll let you know if we stay there & give a review when I get back.

The general area looked nice last time we were there - I believe it is 1.5 miles to the park and they do have a shuttle. It is on the corner of Harbor & Chapman, there is a Target nearby and lots of restaurants and other new hotels. If we don't stay there we will be staying at the Embassy Suites which is also new and right there too.

We have ressies there for 12/31 - 1/7 but also have ressies at Disneyland Hotel.. It would be over $300.00 savings staying at Anaheim Marriott Suites vs Disneyland Hotel. We too have the AP rates with them.. I just don't want to be too far from the MAGIC and the last 3 times we have stayed at DLH.... I saw they have an Outback, Red Robins and such right there so that is a plus

I'd love to hear also if anyone has stayed there and how it was. That is where I have pretty much decided on to stay in April. I have called the Marriott direct, the hotel direct and checked the website. The suite is almost 600 sq. ft which is a major plus. Cooked to order breakfast, free. Like the other poster stated it is around Target which is good to pick up snacks and/or emergency items.
Any feedback would really be appreciated.

Duh, I said I'd post and I forgot! Sorry...

No, we didn't stay there so I don't think I will be much help anyway. But, it looked nice from the outside and the location is great (lots of restaurants within walking distance, etc)

We ended up staying at the Embassy Suites (the new one) which is about 1 city clock closer to DL than Mariott Suites. Any question about the Embassy I would be glad to answer. We loved it and I am not in a hurry to return to the DL hotels unless there is a real bargain to be had. The rooms were large, the cooked to order breakfast plus the evening drinks & snacks were great. I was worried about the shuttle because I don't like to have to wait, but it was on time every time. The longest it took us was 7 minutes each way. We did see the Marriott shuttle as well and it was always running too. I think that their shuttle is the same as Embassy's shuttle in that they share it w/the 3-4 hotels that are in their parking lot.

The lobby at the Embassy was very nice - there was even a wedding there (right in the lobby) on the Sunday we were there.
