Anaheim Marriott - how far from parks?

I'm going to a conference at the Anaheim Marriott in a few months, and I (obviously) plan on staying a few extra days so I can enjoy the parks--I'm a WDW vet, and this will be my first trip to DL!

For convenience, I'm not planning on switching hotels after the conference is over. My question: How far is the Anaheim Marriott from the parks? Is it walking distance, or would I be better off taking a bus over to the parks?

We walked from the Marriott to the parks, and it was fine for us. It's a fairly long walk and took about 15 minutes at a pretty good pace. It would be hard to do with young kids but I didn't find it bad with our party of adults. Two things: if you want to take ART, it does stop right outside the door (costs money). The other option is to walk across the street to the Toy Story parking lot and take a bus (free). BTW, I loved the hotel!
