Anaheim mariott suites question

We are looking at possibly staying at the Anaheim Marriott Suites the first week of October. Staying here because we get a family discount rate. Here are some of my questions:

1. Any reviews of this hotel?
2. I heard that the ART does not stop at this hotel anymore and they have there own shuttle to the parks. Has anyone used this service? Is it very dependable?

Any information would be helpful.

I have stayed many times at this hotel. I love the larger rooms, it is a true suite with a separate bedroom area and a nice sized bathroom. I appreciate the mini fridge as well. Love the Starbucks in the lobby and the fact you can self park for free. It is a quick drive to the parks.

The only real downside to this hotel is its distance. I would love if hotels of this caliber were within walking distance. The time spent parking, taking the tram, etc. is annoying. But my brother in law gets us a Marriott discount, so we often end up staying here for very cheap.

I am not familiar with the shuttle. I thought it was a part of ART, but perhaps that changed? Hopefully someone else has some info.

Thanks for the info....yes we love to take advantage of Marriott discount family rate through my sister in law so we try to stay at a Marriott if possible...we are just concerned about the ART or shuttle because of the distance to the park....hopefully someone will reply about the shuttle service they provide....

Ahhh, a fellow family discounter! If you don't have a car and don't want to deal with the shuttle, look into the regular Marriott by the convention center. You can easily walk from that hotel to the Toy Story Lot. Disney will take you to the parks for free. The regular Marriott is a decent hotel, although the rooms are smaller. But having the ability to walk to the lot is a huge plus in my mind.

My 4 year old son and I stayed there in February. You are correct, they have there own shuttle they share with the other hotels in the vicinity. It was always on time and it went straight to the park. It was a much better experience than when we used ART at other hotels as ART always made multiple stops before getting to the park. Plus, 4 and under ride free (ART is 3 and under). Always nice to save a buck!
