HI all, I need to find housing for about 80 days, late Oct to early Jan in the Knotts Berry Farm area. We are not familiar at all with any of CA and looking at AirBnb and Vbro shows lots of options but it's so hard to narrow this down.

DD is performing at Knotts from late October to Early January.

Can anyone help with real deal traffic (is a 10-mile radius a 30 min commute?) most of the rentals say how far they are to a landmark mile wise but that doesn't account for traffic. Are any areas safer than others or are there areas to avoid? Where would you rent if it were you :))

Looking mostly at the area between Disneyland and Knotts right now in addition to a couple in Fullerton.

Cross posting to the CA board as well.

Thanks in Advance!

Where will you be driving to daily?
And what time of day? Right now, 5:30 pm during the evening commute Google maps shows the commute from Los Angeles International Airport to Disneyland will take 55 minutes. That's 35 miles. I flew in a Noon one trip, and was at Disneyland in 30 minutes thanks to that being a light traffic time, and using routing that a Highway Patrolman I knew who used to be assigned to the Garden Grove office told me to take to avoid backups.
In Los Angeles, often taking surface streets can save you time.

Sorry, we will be doing this daily, to Knotts Berry farm from a short-term rental I can find in the area. Probably late morning to Knotts and early evening home. Late October until early January. Trying to find a rental in with a less than 30-minute commute.

I'd be looking in La Mirada or Fullerton, personally. Those are both nice areas adjacent to Buena Park. No long commutes.
