Anaheim hotel/motel recommendations

You know the old saying..."snooze you lose"? Well, I didn't make the Fairfield reservations yet and now the cheapest room for the days we will be there is $189 + tax.

I was willing to go with $149+, but $40 more per night...thanks, but no thanks.

Looks like we will be staying elsewhere on S. Harbor Blvd. Back to the drawing board. ;)

The $149 rate showed back up this morning and I booked it. :) They also now have an advance "pay in full" rate of $127 a night, but no refunds, no changes. For $60 or so, I'm not biting this far in advance, but if that rate shows up a month before the trip, I'll jump all over it.

It always pays to keep checking for better rates. I now have a rate at the Fairfield Inn for $127+tax per night, no advance payment! :yay:

I cannot currently get on the Online Reservations for Park Vue to see what current rates are, but you should check them out, too. Clean rooms, small motel, CLOSEST location to the parks, decent continental breakfast....usually cheap. Not sure if it still works, but you can try DREAMS for the special code.
