Can anyone tell me what is going on with the Anaheim Garden walk just down passed Disneyland? I know it was forclosing or something, and that all the store were going to be shut down. Is the bowling alley, Movie theatre, restaurants and such still there? Any news would be very helpful. Thanks!

The bank took over ownership back in Spring 2010 and I've not seen or heard anything since then that the shops would be closing down.

Do you have more updated information?

I wish I had more info for you. :confused3 I was curious to know if anyone knew what was going on and could update us. It's so sad the bank took over. It was great little area.

It still IS a great little area....don't recall seeing any signs that it was going under when we were there just after Thanksgiving. That's why I wondered if you had more information.

The bank took over because the value of the property had dropped, like property values did all over the country.....and because the value was less than the mortgage the company that owned it allowed it to be foreclosed. That said, the value of the property back in April was something like just under $200 MILLION dollars, so that's not something the bank is just going to board up and walk away. I'm not sure who is running it for the bank, but it seemed well kept landscape wise, clean, and in decent repair, so someone is taking care of it.....and quite a lot of food traffic when we went so it appears the community is still shopping and eating there. I'll watch closer when I'm there again in April but I doubt there is much worry about it going under any time soon.....like I said, unless there is something I'm not aware of!

FABULOUS!!!! Thanks so much. I kinda figured someone was still keeping up with it. There are so many great restaurants in that area and that will bring in some traffic. When I was there last June everything still seemed up to par and very well kept. I was hoping that something was being done with it to keep it there the way it was. :)

Glad to hear it is still open and good places to eat there. We will be coming June 10th, staying at the Fairfield Inn, and looking forward to shopping and eating there at a few locations. This will be our 1st trip to Disneyland and can't wait!!!!!

We were there just a couple of weeks ago, didn't go to the restaurant part but the shops were open - not many people around but we got some bargains (everything cheaper there than Australia) so we were happy.
