We were thinking of a quick trip to disneyland in June for a couple days.:cool1: We were thinking of staying at the fairfield inn. Is this a good hotel to stay? We are staying at the DLH in October..

Thanks!!

We stayed there in Dec. 2003. It was a decent hotel. Its clean, the rooms are not too small, and the walk is not bad. The pool is a bit small and plain. They do not offer breakfast like most fairfields. We would stay there again, but its not our first choice in that price range.

We really like the candy cane inn, and it is roughly the same price.

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn last time. It was very adequate. Decent rooms, good price. But I agree that my preference would be the Candy Cane Inn for the same price.

We are staying at the Anaheim Fairfield Inn in June. I hope we like it!! From what I've heard, it's one of the closest hotels for walking to the parks. Is that correct?

Yeah, very close. Probably about a 10 minute walk.

Also a Millies restaurant in the parking lot, a Pizza Hut upstairs in the hotel and a Mickey D's next door as well.

Personally, I would rather walk the little bit extra and stay at HoJo's.

We stayed at the Fairfield a few years ago and it was just "ok". Pool is in parking lot, open hallways gives it a motel feel, had wind whistling uder our door each night (stuffed a towel along door and solved that problem), difficult to open doors (heavy metal doors, wind wooshing around, keyless lock not very good).

The extra bed they have in their "mini suite" is a short-narrow-not- a -twin size. Good for kids but if you have a teen/adult they might be uncomfortable.

If you have little ones be careful walking the exterior halls.. very large opening along bases would creep me out with tiny ones.

It was clean, staff were pleasant, beds were not terrible, walk was decent distance.

A year later I discovered Hojo's, that has become my standard "home at Disneyland" location.

We stayed there about a year ago and found it a good deal for the money.
Rooms were quit large and had the good Marriott bedding plus free internet.

We stayed at DL hotel the year before and I don't think I would pay to stay there again, I found the Fairfield just as close to DL and the rooms were fine.
