Anaheim Desert Inn?

Has anyone stayed at the Anaheim Desert Inn next to Park Vue Inn? My sister is planning on reserving a room there for her vacation. We realize it is not deluxe but the location is great. ANy reviews or comments? thanks!

before i found hojos I was going to stay there ive heard good reviews on them an there are some here who stay there all the time.

We've stayed there quite a few time. We're staying there again in Dec. It's your basic budget hotel. Rooms are older but well kept. Elevator is painfully slow. Continental "breakfast" is pastries, toast and apples/oranges. There is a Denny's immediately beside it that's cheap when you get tired of those free breakfast from the hotel. The staff is very accommodating and nice. Parking lot is small and can be a tight fit if you're picking a peak time. They only allow one car per room, regardless if it's a suite that 10 people can fit into. That's never been an issue for us, but it might be for others that are sharing a room with another family.

All in all, it's a decent place to stay if you're on a budget. They are usually pretty cheap & it's got a fantastic location so that seals the deal for me.

if hojo entertainment rate is not available then desert inn is for me staying there this mon for 5 days 69 bucks you cant beat unless hojo is available

We stayed at the DI last march for 3 nights and thought it was just fine. We loved the location and Cold stone Creamery nearby...YUM! The breakfast is basic but fine to hold you up until lunch. The hotel is nothing fancy but our room was clean and comfy.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
