Anaheim Angels fans,please help an enquiring mind..............

I was watching the game last night and saw alot of people waving stuffed monkeys.Whats the deal with this(I think the commentators called it the rallying monkey)Thanks for any help.

Having been an Angel fan for about 25 years, I have seen my bleoved Angels use the likes of President Richard Nixon, ELvis Presley and others for good luck, but it wasn't until this year that the GOOD LUCK CHARM finally came through.

The stuffed Monkey that you see represents a live Monkey called 'The Rally Monkey'. The Rally Monkey has been known to hold an Angels Banner and jump up and down when the Angels need to score. Each time the the Rally Monkey has come out during the playoffs they have won the game.

Since I was a little kid I use to think that each time I watched the game they won, it is kind of disheartning to know that I have been beat out by a little Monkey...My Pride and self worth is shattered.

No matter what they use as a good luck charm, they won and I hope that they keep on winning. I say INSURE the Monkey.
