An unforgettable 30th Ann. Dinner?

Ok guys here is the question of the evening!
My DH and I are haveing our 30th Ann. in WDW In July. I cant decide what restaurant to go to.
I would like this dinner to be unforgettable.
I was leaning toward CRT, so we might be able to see the fireworks through the windows. But the FIS in not until 10PM. So I dont think this will work.
I was also thinking of doing the carriage rides at FW, either before or after dinner.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some reccommendations, and or thoughts.We will be staying at the YC. and we have a car. What do you think of the CG? We have never been there. I think V&A would not be our cup of tea......

Try JIKO at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere elegant-but-not-stuffy, and you have that amazing hotel and the wildlife just footsteps away.

Get there before dark, watch the animals, browse the resort. Then make your way downstairs to the restaurant for a memorable meal.

After that, you could always head over to the MK for the fireworks, if you want.

My first thought was V&A but if you're sure you wouldn't enjoy it I think your idea of California Grill would be a wonderful choice. Very well prepared food, fantastic views, wide selection and great service.

Another vote for CG - If you don't want to wait for a meal late enough to coincide with the MK fireworks, at least go late enough to watch the sun set. In July, that will likely be between 8:30 & 9:00, but it certainly is beautiful. Perhaps if you have a 7:30 PS, and enjoy cocktails while waiting for a window seat, you may be ending your meal shortly before the FIS at 10.

They generally say that a seat at the window is not guaranteed, and when you arrive you can tell them that you'll wait for one or not, but I wonder if they'll make special effort for this occasion. By all means, mention it if you do decide to go there.

I would give Jiko a try it is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. We celebrated our 10th Anniversary at V & A and just loved it. It was the most romantic and special evening we had ever had out. Have a great 30th Anniversary at the most magical place in the world.

Do an Illuminations cruise, just the two of you and have them bring the meal. Not sure how much this is but I think it would be great.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th last year. We had dinner at CRT and it was wonderful. My daughter and son-in-law arranged with one of the managers, Steve, to pay for our meal as a surprise for us. Well, when we were done with dinner her comes Cinderella and Steve. They present us with the card my daughter had sent out to Steve and their dessert sampler platter. It was the most wonderful meal we have ever had. Our daughter told us it was Steve's idea to have Cindy deliver our card. He also called Amy in California after we left to let her know things went perfect!

My first thought was also V&A. We ate there on our honeymoon last July and it is the best dining experience we have ever had. But, it is a lot of money to spend if you are sure you won't like it. While we didn't eat there, everyone seems to love CG. It is definitely a place I want to eat next time we visit.

My first thought would have been Victoria and Albert's as well. DBF wasn't to keen to try it but enjoyed it when we did. If you are more happy with CRT then I would say go for it, you will have a great time whereever you both decide to eat.
