Here's a possible senario I might be in:

Let's just say I sign up with DME, but I decide that the first night I'll be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, and the next couple nights I decide to stay at the Polynesian.

Will the bus that will be picking me up from the Polynesian have a problem taking me to the MCO airport even if it's not the same hotel I registered with while checking in at my hometown airport?

Not a problem. When you make your Polynesian reservation, just tell them that you need a DME ride back to the airport and give them your flight information.

When you make your POR reservation, tell them you need a DME ride to the resort and give them your flight information.

Double check that they have it in the computer when you arrive at the DME desk.

If you change to the Polynesian during your trip without advance reservations, just tell them when you check in that you need a DME reservation for your trip back to the airport and give them your flight information and you are all set.

You'll be fine. You'll just have two DME reservations. One inbound, one outbound.
