An Outlook Express Tech question

I can't get to the tech board so you all are elected.

In my Outlook Express, it has my name in CAPITAL letters and it really bugs me. Is there anyone here that could tell me if there is a way I can change it without doing any damage?

Do you mean when you send an e-mail the return address is all caps?

I was just looking at my OE, and if you go to file, identities, manage identities, then highlight yours, and click properties. Then you get a chance to re-type your name. Maybe that will fix you up!

Serena - choose tools - accounts then click your mail account
then click properties , you can fix it there.

How about go to TOOLS / Account. Click on MAIL tab, and see if your account is already set to capitalized. I think you can change it here.

But I believe it's case-sensitive. When you set OE up, it always warn you about case-sensitivity. I read it somewhere that if I have JOE@blah.com, then those email that send to joe@blah.com won't arrive here.
(I hope I'm wrong.... none of the other email client has such problems)

Maybe you should add a new email address here with all lower case to see if it works first (instead of changing the existing entry).

I was about to post this very thing. I did get it figured out, thanks. And I tested it as well to make sure it works.
