An Open Live Trip Report the Last Week of March 2014

Had a good dinner at Whispering Canyon last night. So good that I am not hungry this morning. Certainly not hungry enough to eat a Boma buffet! Thinking we may eat pancakes at the camper and do a little shopping at the Meadows this morning before we have our DTD afternoon. Anyone ever do the mini golf or Disney quest? We have tickets to both with our package

We have done both! Disney Quest is fun, fun, fun! Especially if you like video games. Sometimes by the afternoon it can get rather packed so we have gone in the morning. Your mileage may vary, but it is 5 floors of different games. (There was also a Cheesecake Factory inside when we went.) Don't miss the Pirates of the Caribbean interactive adventure. It is popular and so cool!

libba, do you have reservations for Boma for breakfast? If so, will they charge you for not cancelling withing 24 hours? These are the kind of situations I worry about and end up deciding NOT to make ADR's for that reason.

We just saw the kids from "The Middle" (ABC sitcom with Patricia Heaton) ride Splash Mountain. Crews are now set up at the town square getting ready for the next scene.

It is crowded at MK today! Son and I headed out of that circus and going to AK. Beware the crowds!

Amen to that brother. We got here at rope drop and rode Buzz, Space Mtn twice, Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder and Splash all before noon. During the busy afternoon we slump thru Tiki, Country Bears, Presidents, Peoplemover and CoP. Had to stand in line outside JUST TO GET INTO Columbia Harbour House now. Sea of humanity all over.

my favorite is the long line at the FP+ kiosks so u dont have to stand in long lines for the rides (duh).

Oh wow...loving the live TR and all the pictures! If I ever needed the "push" to make sure my family does this in the coming years this was it (but let's be serious, no push needed..you mention a FW trip and I'm all about where and when! ). Hopefully the military brings us a bit closer to Florida next year so we can make the drive down with the TT! It's been a LONG 10 years since I've been, and the DH, DS, and soon to be DD have never experienced it!

Great pictures, so jealous right now. I have to wait till the start of 2015 before I see FW again. But I will be camping this weekend and every other weekend for the month of April nearby in WV. I think we are talking about Luray for Memorial Day weekend.

. . . I had a distinguished visitor this morning, none other than The Rusty Scupper. We chatted for over an hour and he's a very nice man. He's one poster who knows how to gig me so it was special meeting him . . .

1) Had a G-R-R-R-E-A-T visit with Ed & Family.
2) Nice people, super conversation.
3) They offered drink and snacks, but after losing 114#, I politely declined.


SIDE NOTE to M: The Tide needs to learn how to "Script Alabama". Until
then, "Million $ Band" is a tad behind "The Best Damn Band In The Land".

So glad we did MK yesterday and not today. Did Disney quest this morning and it was fun but don't think we would do it if we had to buy three tickets. Had lunch at Subway while getting gas for truck and a run to camping world. Trying to figure out if we continue to chill or try to fit stuff in before Raglan Road.
Did not have to pay a fine for canceling Boma but was worried we might.
