An observation of these boards...

OK, I'm going to stick my neck on the line here and tempt fate

I have been a member since Sept I think..I lurked a while (as you do) before taking the plunge and making a post....phew

I have read soooo many posts on here - some going back months and months ago and I have NEVER seen a flaming or a bad word....I think that is pretty impressive ...I really mean that!...people make there comments and those are respected...

I have been members on other boards in the past - TY beaines (I know!!!), Jack Russell etc....and you can guarantee....that they will be an almighty bust up once in a while which will undoubtedly mean someone leaving the boards in a huff, never to return....and I can honetsly say this is the most friendly board I have ever been on!!!!

...and so may it contiunue

I think its something to do with this being a Disney based board - you wouldn't get a CM telling you to do nasty things or be sarcastic, same thing here

Seriously though, a lot of this is down to the Moderating team keeping the boards clear of stuff that could cause offence etc.

Try the Community board outside the safety of the UK forums or the Resort board when someone wants to fit 10 people in ASMO or use their refillable cup from Universal, Actually dont It is much nicer on the UK boards for Zero Flaming.I must say the folks from the UK over on this side of the Atlantic Dis are very nice

There has just been a small kerfuffle on the DLP board, but I agree that sort of thing is very unusual both on there and the UK boards!

I know what you mean pooky we're all a friendly bunch on here, and we share our common interest in anything and everything Disney.

And as for disagreements, we can all be pretty civilised, I mean take this 'snack-a-jack' thing, everyone politely says they like them (but I don't REALLY believe them), but I'm honest enough to say 'THEY TASTE LIKE POLYSTYRENE' and no-one flames me for it.

We do have a friendly little community here.

I put it down to the fact that everyone KNOWS I'm right about everything, all the time.

However, I have taken offence at Mandymouse's claim that Snack-a-Jacks taste like Polystyrene.
They do not!
