Liesa, I will try my best to get my guesses in tonight. Work is absolutely crazy right now - at the moment I am threatened with a business trip to Cairo! And no, it would not include a side trip to the pyramids...

ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Cairo?? Business trips that don't include ANY sightseeing are awful!! Just exhausting busy work, with only the benefit of keeping said employment.

Those are the things we never understand nor know the reason why. And they do last forever. In Ecuador we witnessed a similar thing and were the immediate "counselors" for a 16 yr. old boy whose father died (car fell off a 500 foot mountain road cliff into yard- boy was thrown at the top, father was not). It haunts me to this day to see a young boy wail and scream for his Papa. I will NEVER forget it. Time eventually brings some healing, but you are right, it never goes away totally!

That story is horrible. I must say that Mel & I were part of the same type of situation a few years ago. We were driving on the highway when I saw a big puff of smoke in the air around the next bend. I said to Mel I think someone's car is on fire. When I can around the bend there was a pickup truck upside down in the middle of the highway. I was the first car to arrive. While I was pulling up I could see a guy laying on the highway. As we were getting out of the car, a young boy, around 10-12, dropped out of the car. Then another guy dropped out. I took the boy away from the reck and Mel went to check on the guy laying on the highway. He was already dead. The boy kept screaming my father is dead. I kept saying don't say that. I didn't know what else to say.

The car went over a barrier on the other side of the highway and fell down about 100 feet onto our side. From what witnesses were saying it was a road rage incident and another truck hit them sending them over the side.

I'm with you on this. Not sure why, but that's the way it is.

If I wanted a butch cut, I'd be going out with a guy.

I just realized how much stuff I have yet to get done, I've made my list and I'm biding my time until we get paid again so I can start on the list of many things. It's really cool to see it all come together, I've only been planning this trip for about 2 years and now it's almost here! I've really done a great job this time planning and not stressing myself out with money issues because I paced everything, there's just a few things with graduation, but it's all working out perfectly. It's amazing what happens money wise when you apply faith for it all to come together. My husband surprised me and said he would throw in money that had been saved to apply as spending cash while in WDW. He also told me to buy a new fridge for the garage and a new washer and dryer set (they were all only 18 years old, think we needed new one's?) Then my dad sent us a generous just because check. He said in the note..Just because and have an amazing trip! So now all the appies, drinks and trinkets I wanted to get, I can now!! I'm a truly blessed woman, no one needs to have those extra's on a trip, but it's nice when you can have a few extra perks. Hope this didn't come off as a brag, it really was meant to show faith in action. God is soo good to me, and I don't even know what I did to deserve it.

Just got home from celebrating a life of one of our (my friends) best friends who passed away 10 years ago today in a horrific car crash that 2 of my other friends were in as well.. and it haunts them to this day.

Earlier today, I had spent an hour getting it all nicely formatted- and BAM! It tells me my session had timed out, NO. CAN. POST. Lost. One hour of my time. I must be in the class of truly ignorant, since I don't do EVERY stinking one in Word first.

She's four? That's a year longer than my son, and a year and half longer than my daughter. BUT! The good news is that she should start going to bed earlier, you'll find they will poop out much faster at the end of the day. When Ty did this I started moving his bed time back by thirty mins. until I saw that he wasn't beyond tired to early in the day.
So you should get your time back for the most part, it will just come later in the in the evening.

Well, maroo is the sane one, and LeeAnn is older than me by 7 years, so I think between them, they'll put some sanity back into the Master Plan. I imagine the reality will be that we linger over meals a LOT longer than most parties being that we (at least LeeAnn and I) are a tad long in the jaw.

I woke up today, 100% positive it was Saturday. My hubby came in to say good bye on his way to work, and I asked him where he was going! I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed! Ah well, time will fly, because Friday means a lot of work for me.

Haha, I feel your pain. Fiance and I got to come home a day early, so I spent the day with the little guy. We played outside all day considering it was sunny and 83 degrees!

I'm introducing him to tons of Disney movies before our trip..he loves Peter Pan. Today, he was Captain Hook and he "locked me up" to the fence. He'd leave me there and go play on his swingset. I'd yell, "Hey Captain Hook! Can you set me free yet?!" And he'd be swinging or something and just yell "Nooo..not yet!" Most hilarious thing ever.
