You are right and I should see it from this perspective, really! Cairo is a bit of a nuisance since it would be a one day trip which consists mainly in sitting in a conference room - and I am only asked because they want to look more important with more people.

The job could be very interesting, but really isn't what I want to be doing right now. It would include relocating to a new city, same pay, longer hours... And I am not sure that I would be good at. But it was actually very nice to be asked!!

Interesting on the Cairo trip, that actually gives me some insight into how our parent company works (headquartered in Zurich). It's always our goal to minimize travel costs, and they spend so much more than we do and we never understood why.

As for the job offer, it's always nice to be asked, even if it's not what you want!

Ewwww, one day....not good. I can totally relate to the idea of being somewhere to make someone else look good, I didn't have a husband for almost a month due to something like that. He ended up in Ireland to do a job he wasn't trained for. WTHeck is that all about?!?

Sure doesn't sound worth it to me. Same pay for not much benefit. However, I CAN see where it would be nice to be asked. You must be very good at what you do.

I had 2 tickers last trip and one was off by a day. I know I used the same dates for both. It's OK.. it will make you be prepared one day earlier!

The sad part is that it's not the ticker that's off by a day, it would be the user of the ticker that's off.


Well this morning she was up at 6:15 and wouldn't go back to sleep. She still needs the naps she is just refusing them. Glad I was sleeping at 10:15 last night.

That's usually how it starts. I promise it will level it's self out soon, hang in there.

Haha, I completely understand! We are trying to potty train and he is just being stubborn.

Ahhh potty training....those were the days. I hate to break it to ya, but it's just one of those things that he can control and by God he's going to! That and eating, they will hold out on both if they feel they need to. Best approach for us was to allow them to know what it's all about, use their favorite stuffed animal to "mock" what to do and let them decide it's time for themselves. I'ts never an easy thing to deal with when they decide they don't want to, forcing it always makes it prolonged and painful for everyone. Both of mine, when they decided it was their time then there was no turning back. One just got up one day and went, I asked if I could help and the answer was a resounding NO! Me-Ooookay-fine! Just let me know if I can do anything".......(silence....flush, washing of hands-opens door) end of story. They were both well into their threes.

Yes, the official dates are out, and they do NOT include us.

So, on one of the dates, we will take in HOOP DE DOO!!

The other one, I'll be solo, and will most likely take in a Behind the Seeds Tour and stay super late EPCOT? I think we also gained an AK EMH, so I think our time will really be utilized well. I"m excited for all the alternative things we've chosen.

I've gotten over it mostly, but am still pretty disappointed in the way Disney handled the whole communication thing. So many people had already made itineraries and ADRs around the assumption that their hours, being the way they were, indicated 2 parties before the 14th.
