An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

I love Tater!!

You even came up with a name I had not heard before: Avery...

And Maggi: yes, it is a brand name for all kind of convenience products like bullion etc... But the sauce they make is always only referred to by the brand name. Actually it is now owned by Nestle and the brand Maggi used to be the sponsor of the African themed CS restaurant in DLP's Adventureland... Just to throw in a few more random facts... :goodvibes

UGH! I had ice on the inside of my windows once in Chicago.

BRR!

When ice is on the INSIDE of the windows, you KNOW it's cold! :sad2:

I should have votes for the name. I think he will really enjoy a trip to pick out his own clothes!

WOW! that is very interesting about the Maggi brand. I had no idea. And it even has some Disney trivia with it. Gotta love that! So what kind of sauce is it that is referred to??

Can't wait to find out what the *big* reason is for pushing the trip back to October!

As for PH....I remember Pat from SNL too, that's always the first unisex name I think of, Pat, then his/her life partner Chris. :lmao:

But I like Tater too, it's cute. :cutie:

We had a Jungle Cruise skipper on our last trip that we were not sure if it was a man or woman. My Mom and I joked throughout that it was Pat. At the end of the ride, (s)he announced her(his) name as Pat. I thought we were going to be thrown overboard for laughing as hard and loud as we did.

That sounds freakishly cold. Hoping it warms up for you soon!

Thanks, GB!

BY THE WAY!!!! Tim, Cynthia and Amanda: I'm afraid you'll have to wait a tad longer for your prizes from Rations Drop... With this weather, there are very few sellers in the bazaars right now. Being outside, they want to keep their ninnies. So, when the temps. warm up to more than -25 below F, I'll go and pick those up, and get them out to you. ;)

I know that suspence is killing you all, but hey, what can I do? :rotfl: I think once DH and I have a chance to sit down and talk, things will start to get ironed out.

Tater is certainly more neutral of the bunch. Still thinking.

We have some good friends in Portland who are named Chris and Chris. Man and woman. (Christopher and Christine). They just had their first baby. Guess what it is?? Uh-huh.... Christian. (Chris)

That's a hilarious story! S/he probably thought you were laughing at the jokes like seeing the backside of water, or the rhino being a pain in the backside. :lmao:

No problem. I can wait till you get back to Oregon if you want.... you can send me some coffee. ;)

I like Pat for the PH. :thumbsup2

Pat Potato. It's growing on me. but really, I hope there isn't someone getting upset that we're having fun with Tatey. :confused3

Happy to be service...but I still don't know what we're talking about. Tried to edit that last one before you replied, but I didn't quite make it.

No worries, GB!! I'm like that half the time on this thread. Which can add quite an element of hilarity!! :lmao:

Hey Ladies- tattooed, pierced, or otherwise. :lmao:

Love it too that there are a variety of time zones, so basically anytime you want to find fun, there's someone up somewhere. :thumbsup2 I tend to get most of my conversation type activity with the West Coast, but only becuase that tends to fall into the time of day I can be on. Come Thursday, when DH gets home, that time will cut WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back to only my time mornings, and once in a while in the evenings.

That'll be fun with Magdalena here (did I spell that right??); I'll bet we connect more than others here- except you, Camille!! But hey, I always have the phone to pick up when I get lonely for chatter :)

:goodvibes
Hello! Just wanted to get a hi in before you went to bed. :wave2:
For some reason when I copy and paste the links to here from AOL, it's all garbbled. The posts all look like a different language. Weird. I wonder what's going on? Hope you have sweet dreams. :cloud9:

My goodness! You have been chatty while DH is away! I'm all caught up.

Sorry about your MIL. Maybe a blessing that she didn't have to go through the cancer completely - God is good. All the time.

I don't know what to think about your date dilemma - I would want to spend as much time with my son as possible. Soon he'll have a wife, and then he won't be your son any more - he'll be her husband. I know very well.

Love your group for this trip! I can't wait to read about your adventures.

I am a grandma - I have to remember the potato head things next time. Such a fun gift! Don't they have little pony stuff or something, too?

I hope I can keep up - I have too many PTRs to read right now. popcorn::

Hi Camille!! You are up late, late, late again. Everything ok??

So, why are you doing links from AOL?? Was there something you wanted to show us??

That's all about to come to a screeching halt come Thursday. I'm sure I'll be able to sneak some chatty in though. ;)

AWww, thanks, Tammie! I really appreciate your kind words. All of us in the family are definitely in agreement with that. She was a hospice worker herself as a nurse for many words, and knew very well what she was facing. God IS good- all the time!

It's a tough one, that's for sure. Our move was surely NOT planned for now, when I was first making these plans. Funny how much things can change in the course of so short a time.

We have so many adventures planned!!! All of us are very, very excited for the things we have in store!

yeah, it's very strange to know that by my 30th anniversary I will most likely be a grandma too. (I see your ticker) Maybe even by my 25th if this girlfriend and he can survive the long distance of school.

Anyway, there are some things I'll never get rid of- the Brio set, the Legos, the pattern blocks, and of course CDPH!!!

I know what you mean about PTRs!!! They are all so fun to watch unfold!! You never know what topics will evolve on them either. ;):lmao:

Hi Camille!! You are up late, late, late again. Everything ok??

Actually, this is kinda early for me. 4 or 5 is late, late, late for me. I actually get my mail on an AOL address, so when I open the mail to get the link to the paticular post I want to answer back on, once I'm in the post it shows up as a bunch of garbble, kinda like what you see when you go in and add something to your siggie. I found an icon I can hit that makes it all go back to normal readings, but it takes me to all my subscriptions and then when I hit the link to the subscription it takes me back to the garbble again. :confused3 I have to go into a different server to get to all y'all's links (how's that for Texan) so I can comment. I wasn't trying to post a link, just trying to get to what your saying and then comment if need be.

I probably totally confused you....I think I confused myself!
