When I began this PTR many, many moons ago- (I don't even remember when that was!) I had no idea whatsoever that my life would be taking such a wild and crazy journey of unknowns, morphing into "we sorta knows".

...My trip was on the line, and the threat of it being flushed down the toilet was very real for about 2 months. Most of you know how badly I need this trip- the reasons are far too many to list out and give discourse on, and to say I was in a personal tizzy would be missing the boat entirely. I had let unbelief take a firm grip.

...It's been quite a journey these months to watch the Father work out everything up to now- why is it my heart falls into places where I doubt and lack trust?? We've gone from not leaving, to, leaving, to exactly when and where we're going, and there's even now a bonus of a stop in Germany that sits squarely in the category of "gift". The answers were always sure to come, it's sometimes hard to wait, isn't it?

Yes, it is very hard to wait! I am so very happy you received the answers you were praying for!

Liesa, although I haven't been playing along with the Clue game, I'm still following along with all your ups, downs, and all-arounds!

Then you and I are in the same boat!!! I get sore after bowling too. I don't even need Scott to laugh at me. I think it's pretty hilarious myself. But I HAVE been doing a weight routine on my arms for quite a while now; it's making absolultely no difference (we wounldn't want to offend arm flab too badly now, would we??) but I keep plugging away. MIke is convinced that's how I whacked out my neck. Who knows?!

Speaking of cookies... Mmmmm, Bek made the BEST choco chip EVER last night. I only had 2!!! Holy crumboly, they were so perfect. I almost posted a pic.

Well, the conversation over at Glennbo's enticed me to do up some strudel. (with one e!) Unfortunately, any self restraint I exercised with cookies went flying out the window in a moment of strudel-y weakness.

To wax or not to wax--- that is the question. I loved Mrs. The King's discourses on waxing!! I wish she'd come back!

WE just got up from the table from completey decimating the entire thing!! It was beyond fabulous!!


It wasn't very pretty, but ohhhhhhhhhhhhh so delish!!

I did take several pix, but won't be able to upload until later this weekend. It is a massive holiday weekend here. Spring equinox, called Nauruz (or Navruz depending on where you are) is the Central Asian New Year. DH has a 5 day weekend! Hopefully I will make it over to our Central Square and get some good shots of the traditional dancing and singing and such!! THere will be yurts and shashlik too!! Should be fun!

My strudel is sitting mighty fine- if I had had the normal problems with re-creating my new ticker, it might have given me massive heartburn...

I got stuck behind a parade of yurts and shashlik this morning on my way to work. I wondered what the heck was going on? Oh yeah -- Nauruz! (just kidding)

Anyway, glad to hear the strudel turned out so good. Sounds like the whole family enjoyed it. You had it with coffee too, right?
