Seriously, it shouldn't take too long to catch up with the links, most of the posts are pretty short. Some are more amusing than others.

And, like J's thread, you never know WHERE the next topic is going to lead! AND like his, it usually ends up in the crapper- or at least it's getting referred to. All part of the world I live in...

No, I would never get IN the water- it's green and slimy- probably from several thousand past deposits of kids. And from the fact that they NEVER change the water- and it's pumped straight from the adjacent river that the cows and horses wade in and "use".

And, yes, we DO swim in it every summer.... FYI. (the river, not the pool)

OK, since you twisted my arm...

Here's the short version...


We get there and hurrah, they're open! Took about 10 minutes to find someone who could help us, and when we did, this guy who were pretty sure was going to die in the next 15 minutes came staggering out of the back room. He claims he was sick, but to me it looked like he was on his deathbed either from a long night out, or from an advanced case of Ebola virus, that I'm praying doesn't afflict us. He could barely hold his head up and couldn't even focus on the computer screen to input oru names.

Any questions....?

I haven't been in 10 years, but I'd love to make a return trip. I have several friends in Portland...

Lots! of fun stuff to do there! The zoo is amazing! But my new house is on the Willamette River, and we can just hang out too, by a BIG fire and talk walks and talk! Oh, I have a hot tub too.

See - this is the kind of stuff I miss when I use the links!!

My life is pretty crazy over here; I know it sounds like I'm complaining a lot of the time, but really, I just call it like it see it.
