Until today I had never heard of Yes classes. I was told that if you take a class your park tickets at about half off. soooo....
Stupid question and I am sure it is impossible now, but I figured I would see if anyone knew. I leave in 3 weeks on a Sunday. I have everything booked and paid for including resort, tickets and airfare. I would love to have my daughter take one of these classes, but in our tight schedule we could never fit it in. I would love to leave a day early, and give her a day to do this class but a couple things are stopping me.
1st I am not sure I could change my airfare to leave a day early without a big fine, and 2nd I am not sure if I would save enough on tickets to add an extra day on our trip without incurring extra costs. Then 3rd I don't even know if it is possible to book this close to the date we leave.

I wish I would have known about these classes a year ago. anyone know more about these classes

I can't answer your questions since I have no insight into the airfare issue-you'd have to call the airline- and then you'd have to do the math on the tickets, if you can get refunded for your current ones in the first place. Add in the extra night, then it may not benefit you.

Have you checked the availability for the class you have in mind? If it isn't closed, you should be able to sign up for it. Tickets are picked up at a GR window when you arrive.

It may be that the math doesn't support changing your plans. I can say that, yes, you save a bundle on tickets. I signed 2 of my children up for the Wild by Nature class on 10/30 and saved about $400 on tickets for 4 people. I'm getting an AP for myself, but if I weren't we'd have saved more.

Okay I figured out where to see if there would be availability for any of the classes while we were there and all the classes were closed. Will have to remember this if we are able to make it back there again in the next few years.

If I were to buy tickets this way next time, would I have a problem booking a package thru Disney, with dining, airfare, ect? I liked that I was able to do to one site and book and pay for everything all at once for this trip.

if you get Yes tickets you cannot book a package. It's the same as buying UT or AAA tickets. you can't have dining without tickets in your package. You would have to buy at least 1 day tickets for all of you to be allowed to add dining.

Sounds like it would get complicated... Would a travel agent be able to easily navigate thru it all and ultimately get me the package i want... I would be okay with paying for 1 or 2 day package and the rest thru the yes program as long as the resort and the dining plan were covered for our entire stay. this is if I can afford to go again..LOL

If I went again and did the class, I would want to stay on site, have airfare included in the price and use a dining plan. I like the dining plan because I like having the essentials payed for ahead of time when I book, so I don't have to worry about anything more then tips and spending money when I go.

You can only have dining for the same number of nights that you have a a package, so what you're wanting would not work.
