I hope I have the date right, it all seems like a blur it went by so fast, but I belive it was Monday, June 1st around 8pm that we had finished dinner at Kona Cafe and went to the MK to catch Spectro and Wishes.
When we got off the monorail and walked toward the MK bag check, I heard a man screaming at someone. Something about respect for the children, respecting adults, and paying all this money to be on vacation. At first I thought it was some guy yelling at his kid, but come to find out, this guy was yelling at this group of 2 young guys and 2 young girls who were gay/lesbian and wearing pride shirts. I think I heard someone say that all they were doing was holding hands and walking toward the entrance and this guy went off on them.
I was already inside the gate when I realized what was going on, but I heard one gentleman tell his family he would be right back because he was going to go back and report the guy to security. I don't know if anything happened to the guy, but I was glad to hear that other people thought he was making a fool of himself.
I was also glad to see the 4 "kids" later on and looked like they were enjoying themselves, but still felt bad they had to experience that hate in the happiest place on earth.
