An homage to Phineas and Ferb

Love Phineas and Ferb! I was shocked at how little merchandise Disney has for them. One of my favorite episodes is the "aglet" one.

WARNING!:
I tried the "Whatchadoin" on some Kindergarteners last year while I was subbing (I guess I was trying to be cool or something) and the response was "Eatin chocolate. Where'd you get it? Doggie dropped it. Where's he know? Behind the door. What's he doin? Makin' more!" :lmao:

I'm so glad to see so many non-kid fans. I don't know that it means I'm normal, but at least I'm in good company.

How can you not like a show whose songs include,
"...How do I qualify for government grants?
(Squirrels! Squirrels!)
Got an aunt Florence livin' in France...":rotfl2:

And what mother's heart is not touched by Candace singing
"I'm a little high strung, it's just because I'm young,
Mom I adore you, and I'd do anything for you"?:lovestruc

One of my all time faves:
"Just the 2 of us in the esophagus...Don't mean to make a fuss, but that was the pancreas, slow down before you reach the colon. On the hemoglobin highway...":goodvibes

Last night while watching Dancing With The Stars I asked DW if Aaron Carter's shirt was designed by Gaston LeMode. Seriously, the collar on his shirt was freakishly long.

We joking tell DD that the sister on P and F was created with her in mind! :lmao: Our gang loves that show.

freaking LOVE this show! Def a fam favorite! As adults we love it! The kids think it is the bees knees as well!

I love this show - there is soooo much to it, so many pop culture references imbedded every which way.

As for the Soundtrack, it came out about a month ago, I guess. I went to Target a day after it came out and bought the very last one at that store. I had to root through the children's CD's to find it!

Oh love this show... have the sound track in my car for the last 2 weeks playing non stop and I am 31!!!

I like how its not a nonsense comedy and how it has nuances and a real well put together plot. My fav song is Lindanna not the pmost popular but goes

I dont wanna scrub the sink or mow the lawnna
I am lindanna and I wanna have fun

P&F's mom sing this.

Does anyone know F is related to P how? like on whose side mom or dad?

According to what I've read on Wikipedia, IMDB and at fan websites:

Phineas is the son of Linda and brother to Candace, thus the red hair. Ferb is the son of Dad (as voiced by Riff-Raff:rotfl2:), hence the British accents. It is supposed to be a blended family situation.

Now, for this to work, at least given the montage shown during the Brothers song, the marriage of Linda to Dad would have had to take place when Phineas and Ferb were infants or toddlers (I need to re-watch that montage, I guess). However, the show is not exactly internally consistent and it is not at all logical except in terms of discreet episodic plot construction so I wouldn't dissect any of this very far.

Another P&F fan. We all loved it in our family and my 3 year old loves singing the songs. I'm thinking about grabbing the CD for DH's stocking stuffer.

Another F&B fan here too. I love this show and the songs are great.

"I know what we're going to do today!"

"Oh, there you are Perry."

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Eariler this month we saw someone put "Doofenshmirtz" on the nametag on their rented stroller at the MK. Loved it!

But, but...they're younger and they're related.

OK, so how many of you looked up at the TV and did a double take the first time you heard the song Backyard Beach?!?!
I swear they did.not. say the word Beach. I was in the kitchen when I heard it come on and I flew into the living room thinking the kids had switched over to HBO or something! :rotfl2:

DD asks me Watcha' Dooooin all the time.

I like the song I ain't Got Rhythm. and Ready for the Betty's.

Dh heard 'Backyard Beach' for the first time on the soundtrack and said 'Backyard WHAT?'

We have hereby named our theater 'Doofenshmirtz Abandoned Theater!'

Oh my gosh, I didn't know that was Riff Raff! I've always wondered where he got to!

I have Baljeet's "Somebody give me a grade" stuck in my head. Well, it's better than soiling my underpants and having to hang up the shame curtains!:happytv:

"I have been burned by vague lesson plans, and a free-floating curriculum/ I like my rules, baby, etched in stone 'cause you know I am going to stick to them!"

I swear, that has become my new favorite P&F song.

The CD Soundtrack is great, but I'm already making a list of what needs to be on the "Volume 2" soundtrack, including "Give Me a Grade," "One Good Scare," "I Must Impress My Professor" (my favorite Doof. production number), and Danny's Guitar History song from the Love Handel episode (which was inexplicably omitted from the first CD).

Me.

I'll join in too. I love P&F!
OP, if your daughter doesn't want Ferb, I'll have him!

My favourite song;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGm4NY4f46k
"Oh, Perry! I'm allergic to dairy, I'm gonna move to the prairie, and change my name to Larry!"

LONG LIVE PHINEAS & FERB! :goodvibes

Curse my intensely burning apathy for Christmas!:santa::lmao:

This is the BEST Christmas show ever.:lmao:
