An every so often live trip report!

Cool! Well that should be something to really look forward to then! Mum's teacher friends went a few years back and now that she's booked to go, she's getting REALLY excited about Epcot Tbh it's nice to see her get SO EXCITED over something! It's been a LONG time since I've seen her this happy!

Sounds AWESOME! How long would you say it takes to walk around World Showcase on average?? Mum's DESPERATE to go and we never made it past England and Canada when we went due to my toothache. Can't wait to read more!

We did it from Norway to France, stopping at the kids stations in about 2 hours but we weren't there to see anything else, if it was just us adults, I would be stopping and taking it all in but with the kids it was like get in get out. We haven't done uk or Canada yet as we had FP's to get to. We will be going round again tho, it's our favourite park so we just do a bit every other day, during F&W it's best to start when it opens at 11 as by 1pm it's really crowded.

Today was Halloween.
We had planned to get to MK for EMH at 8am but the kids were still sleeping at 7:20, make the most of it as on,y a few days ago DD2 was waking at 6am!!
So we got ready and made our way to the bus stop, even tho we had the car, we didn't want the hassle of parking a TTC but saying that, by the time we waited for a bus we could have probably been at the TTC!
We arrived at the gates 8:55 and I was expecting to get lost amongst the non disney guests waiting to enter at 9. There was no one there, walked through bag check, no ques at the entrance, where was everyone?!
Walked down a pretty empty Main Street and got a few PP pictures. Today was all about tommorowland and New fantasy land as the last 2 days we had at MK were the other side.
We walked straight in Buzz, did it twice, straight on Astro orbiter, walked straight into Stitch, DH took DD2 back onto Buzz twice while we were in there, then straight into Monsters laugh floor, where was everyone? It was empty. DD10 did the race cars twice and I did a walk on the teacups twice with DD2 and went and got FP for Ariel.
Pooh bear had just reopened as we met back up and we walked right on, next was dumbo, again walk on, DD10 wanted to play a bit in the tent play area but we were ushered right onto the ride. Then came Goofy's barnstormer, walk on, I had FP+ for this and for the race cars but didn't use them! I tried to change to something else but nothing I really needed to use them on.
After Goofy we went into big top treats and all got something chocolatey, DH had the chocolate covered pineapple spear, really good. I had a red velvet Mickey cake pop, DD10 got the sugar orange chocolate cake pop and DD2 got a Mickey shortbread. Used up some snack credits on these.
Onto under the sea with Ariel, I had my FP and the stand by said 20mins,it was not, it was a walk on, we could have rode it loads of times but we had Tales with Belle.
Now this is the only FP+ that really made a difference! the wait time was 40 mins and was about right, they only have about 45 people max in each show and it lasts about 20 mins, we walked right into the next show in less than 5 mins. It was really good, DD10 got to play a part and at the end they get a picture with Belle to retrieve via the PPwebsite. We were heading out the park now as we had lunch reservations at WL WC but not before another walk on the carrousel. As we were walking down Main Street, the dance parade was on so we watched that. Left the park at about 12:40 so we got quite a bit done this morning.
Caught the boat to WL, got there about 1pm and had a lovely lunch at WC, it was so much fun, DH finished his coke so the server brought out a gigantic glass that had about 6 pints in!
Then DD10 asked for ketchup and we ended up with 8 bottles! she then had to take them to the next table that shouted for ketchup.
We decided we would definitely return here if we have time.

Back at the hotel we decided to hit the pool for a bit, DD10 wanted to do the Halloween activities the BC had on so we only had about 45 mins in the pool.
Quick change into their Halloween costumes and we went trick or treating round the BC at 5pm, got picture taken with Halloween Minnie and Goofy, got loads of candy and a CM said to head over to the BW as they had parties on and more candy.
So over we went and wee were there till 8:30. They had loads of games with little prizes and candy, a DJ and dance parties, another picture with halloween Donald, we all agreed we had a really good time, DD10 said it was better than the MNSSHP we did last time! Even DD2 was joining in with all the games, she's really come out her shell a bit now, we got a few good pictures.
We got the boat back to BC and have just watched Illuminations from our balcony with a nice cold Smirnoff ice! Lol

All in all we've had a really good day and the BC and BW Halloween activities were excellent.

Tomorrow is breakfast with Chef Mickey then shopping.

I want a day at MK with you next time I think! lol! A deserted MK with PP photographers, M&Gs and everything... that truly is my idea of heaven! Sounds like you're having a FAB time and DD2 especially! Can't wait to read more! Hope you have a nice day today!

Friday 1 nov.

So yesterday we had breakfast at CM.
We drove to the CR, got checked I straight away, pictures taken and seated. DH did try and give the PP guy our PP+ card when the picture was taken bu he said to show it to the person who comes round with the package. So I did this and she went on and on how it was not on my receipt I got when I checked in, she continued to show me a receipt with the PP+ marked and ours without! this is even after I told her we tried to give the card over when the picture was taken! I clearly had the card and she eventually went and sorted it out and gave us the package! The last 2 breakfast we did, we got the package no problem. It felt like I wasn't supposed to have it!
Anyway, breakfast was good, pictures taken with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, goofy and Pluto.

We headed off to the premium outlets on Idrive. Got there about 11 and it was busy. It was also a super hot day, the hottest so far. Glad we weren't at the parks today. It was cooler going in and out the stores.
So the girls got the most today, we got nothing. Saw a few things but will go back later. They got some shoes from Clark's, now the pricing on things gets me here! I had 2pairs of shoes for $55 already marked down, when I get to the till it's like $27!!! What? For 2 pairs of shoes, DD2's are in Clark's back home for £32!!
Then we hit Tommy and DD10 got a new school coat and hat, she said it was weird trying on all this warm gear when it was so hot out. I tried a few coats on too and was getting a bit flustered!
They also got UGG's too, I didn't!!
DD had seen a coat in RL the other day at the one in LBV but they didn't have it here, he was panicking so we decided to stop off there on the way back plus DD10 had seen a back pack in RL that was $55 on Wednesday and was now on sale for $27. So we did a quick detour there on the way home and everyone was happy. Erm, not me I didn't get anything, I did see a nice watch on Wednesday and the guy said the offer ended on Thursday but DD didn't belie him, we'll it did as it wasn't on offer today! But I found a more expensive one! Lol.
We came back to the hotel and had a quick change before heading off to Epcot to have dinner at coral reef. We got a great seat by the tank and had steak, it was nice but could have had more to it, just a small spoon of mash and 2 asparagus.
We did Nemo and the kids ran round Bruce's play area for a bit then did TT, headed back to the hotel with a few drinks and watched illuminations again on the balcony, gotta love the BC for this!

Today went to DHS and did RnRc, DD10 would not ride it for all the bribes we tried, just as well as I know her and she would have been terrified, just like the poor girl in front of me with her family, she just reached the height requirement but she was forced to go on despite saying she didn't.
When we came out it was pouring! We'll I've carried our pac a macs and umbrella for days in the back pack but not today! So we have to buy ponchos. We were soaked but made it to Ariel, the. TSM then playhouse disney, DD2 loves this.
After that we decided to head out to the mall at mellenia, west topped at DTD and got earl sandwiches first.
Spent a fortune in macys, saw a coat I liked but decided to try the outlet again.
Went back to the one inLBV to find they didn't have the long coat I wanted so I guess another trip to Idrive is needed, then we went to look at the watch I mentioned earlier and it wasn't on sale anymore. Will have a think about the other one and see what I decide.

Back at the BC and we tried for B&C but wait was 1hour so just grabbed sandwich and flat bread for the market place, they were really nice.

Tomorrow Is AK then anything we feel like.

I'm back

So I'll finish my trip report now!
Can't believe it's been a week since I last updated, we've been going at it hard with little time to rest.

I last left off with AK being our next adventure.

Sun 3 Nov, I woke at 7:10 and as I was pottering DH said to check the time was right as the clocks had gone back, oh lord I hope so, I checked my watch and it said 8:10, phew!!
So today was EMH at AK, we decided not to get there for 8 as we already had FP booked for what we wanted. We hopped in the car and in 12 mins we arrived just before 9 and had to que to get in as there were so many people at the guest entrance to start, we were in No hurry as the safari ride was 9-10. We got in line at 9:15 an a family in front could not get in with their bands, they had a 10-11 slot and the CM was trying to explain (they were foreign) that they were early and the clocks had gone back!
My plan for today was AK, leave about 1 and head over to AKL for a QS lunch just to see the resort then head back to the pool or whatever we fancied.
Well on the way in DD10 spotted the ranger station and as she missed out last time, wanted to do the activities around the park, we got 2 books and were told to stop at all the ranger stations and collect all the stickers, well this took up a lot of time, we enjoyed our day as we got to go on all the trails, see the tigers in action and just take in the scenery, we even went over the rafiki's station.
We stopped for lunch at FT BBQ instead of going to AKL, DH was not thrilled in seeing it, he said we would never stay there and preferred the WLwe visited last week.
I had the pulled pork sandwich and DH had the ribs, they fell of the bones, mine was ok, a little dry so had to add some BBQ sauce. The birds were annoying tho.
We did more touring and by now it was 3 pm and we had dinner at BOG at 6:45, so we headed out. Back at the hotel DD10really wanted to go in the pool, I said if she did this then we wouldn't have time for rides before dinner, she was fine with this and had half hour in the pool, with the clocks changing it was a shock to see the pool area with no sun on it and it was freezing, despite it had been a hot day.
A quick shower and ready to go, we caught the bus and got to BOG about 6:40!
We were seated right away in the rose room, it was very empty in there, not sure why. We all had the steak and all really enjoyed it, DD10 had hers plain with fries.
It was very cold when we left so went on the carousel, IASM and HM to keep warm, DD2 fell asleep on HM, we did BtM while wishes was on then headed out the park, I wish she had been awake as POtc, Jc and the carpets were all walk ons. Never mind.
Back home and we were knackered after such a long day we went straight to bed.

Got 5 mins so will do a little update!
Monday 4 Nov.
Today was a free for all, nothing booked. We had a lazy morning, well I say lazy, as lazy as we get but I was still running round!
We went down for a quick breakfast and headed out, I think we went to the outlet on Idrive to see if I could get that coat I wanted. We did end up spending a couple of hrs there and it was getting on a bit and we needed lunch, as I had no plans and we missed T-Rex the other night, I suggested we drive to DTD and have lunch there then do a bit shopping. So that's what we did, got in T-Rex in 15 mins and we had the steak, it was really good and we both agreed we would have it again.
DD2 was not keen on the meteor showers but got through them! After we did a bit shopping In world of Disney, got a few kitchen items and picked up my free $200, can't believe I waited that long to get it and after all that I've still got it!
We forgot to pay it off the room bill the night before check out. Guess I'll have to use it online or as a deposit for our next stay, the guy who gave it put said it had no expiry.

So we were all shopped out for today and I wanted to hit DHS as it's and EMH tonight, I had FP for ToT and playhouse disney and Fantasmic. It was closing in on 4ish and wanted to get a few rides done before we had to go in for Fantasmic, so it was a quick drive back to BC, better than the 45 min bus trip!! Quick change and out we went. Didn't do many rides but got playhouse disney in and start tours, DD2 was doing well and still awake so we managed to get to Fantasmic, we got in the FP line and it was busier than the stand by! We were seated right over in the left hand side, 2nd last block! Definitely was not worth a FP but still had a good enough view. We made our way out and did start tours again and headed to the dance party. Well DD2 was loving it, she missed it last week as she fell asleep. It was the best thing ever, watching her run round and take part in the conga line, She danced with Sofia and DD10 had Goofy practically all to herself, he was dancing with her and putting her Goofy hat on, at the end we said goodbye and he gave her a great big hug and kiss on the head, she must have been dancing with him for half an hour, following him round. She said it was the best thing to ever happen, oh,she loves Goofy!!!
DD2 fell asleep on the way out and we got back to the BCand grabbed flat bread sand the beef sandwich, again very good. It was really late when were to bed, like 10:45,omg our latest night yet. Lol.

Forgot to say, about the watch I saw, it had gone up in price as the promotion had ended, just like the sales person said! So I found another, more expensive of course and now thinking about that that one! That'll teach DH for not believing the sales person, actually, when it had a second look at it I wasn't overly keen, so I'm glad I had seen the other one now! X
