Okay, we are fairly Croc literate and after testing some "knock-off" Crocs today have decided to order a pair of the originals. But what the heck is the difference between the Caymen and the Beach or are they the same except for color? Can any of you experts help please? Also any input on how long it takes to get them after ordering from the web site? Thanks so much!

Ok I finally figured it out the Cayman are sold in actual shoe sizes while the beach are in XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL for guys. So the beach fit is not as exact as the caymanam i guess. I am a huge fan of crocs but I got all three pairs of mine at halmark so I cannot tell you how long they take by mail, I dont think it will take too long, enjoy them when you do get them!

The only difference between the Beach and Cayman is the sizing. The Beach are sized XS, S, M, L, XL while the Cayman are sized 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, etc. The Cayman are suppose to run more true to size and the Beach are a little wider than the Cayman. As for how long it takes to get the Crocs from their website...not sure...I purchased my 2 pair of Crocs locally. I also own Holey Soles, which are the Canadian version of Crocs...they are exactly the same except for the design on top of the shoes. You can compare what the two look like at their websites.

I have 2 pairs of the Holey Soles and like them just as much as the Crocs. I haven't purchased the knock-offs, but have tried them on at Walmart, Payless, Walgreens, and a chain shoe store version and none of them seemed as comfortable walking around the store. I did notice Skeechers has come out with a version, but haven't tried them on yet.

I hope this helps!

I think the Beach are a little bit "fuller" than the Caymen as well, no? The Caymen are thinner in width?

I think a difference might also be that the Beach model turns up very slightly at the toe. When looking at a picture of both side by side you can see it.

I got mine from the Crocs website and it took about 10 days or so...and I'm in Canada. I got the Caymens in Butter....and I love them!

I have ordered all 3 of my Crocs from their website, 2 Cayman and 1 Beach. The Cayman's are more true to size and fit me better than the Beach. It took anywhere from 1 week to 10 days to receive them. If you put them in the dryer for a few minutes and then wear them around the house for 30 minutes or so, they will form to your foot very quickly. I did not do this with my first pair and it took them about 2 weeks to really start to feel good.

I work in a hospital so I get to wear my Crocs to work everyday and I am SOOOO spoiled by them. I'm to the point where I don't want to wear any other shoes!

The Beach is definitely wider than the Cayman. Since I need the Beach, I am keenly aware of this. As for delivery time, I ordered 4 pair last Saturday evening and we received the shipment on Wednesday. I think that is pretty quick! FYI ..... I had to take my MIL to emergency room today and we saw 3 ER employees wearing them, so they must be gaining in popularity. DH and I both had ours on!

I tried both styles and I found that the Caymans fit soooo much better! I wear and 81/2 medium width and the medium Beach was too small and the large Beach was way too sloppy. I bought my size 8 Caymans at REI.

I ordered a pair from Extreme Footwear (free shipping). The shipping time was approx. 4 days. My beach shoes are wider then the Aspens I just got.

Crocs are heavenly :goodvibes

Taylor Shoes

Highly recommend! Another DISer gave me this link awhile back. Tons of colors, sizes, styles - kids and adults.

They are fast!

It says right on the website:

The cayman is a sleek and slender version of the Beach and comes in full sizes and kids sizes, too.

I like the Aspen.

to all of you. Many, many thanks for your help with this. Gosh, I wish I had stock in Crocs (oh, how clever...I can rhyme) with all the information and interest that's out here. We'll check out the suggested websites.

Again, thanks! (Wish I could talk my friend into some lime greens so we might meet some of you down there!)

Hey yall. Just wanted to add how much I love my crocs. I am a nurse and have spent dollars and dollars on Dansko and other shoes for work and I am in love with my crocs! (do still enjoy dansko clogs, but dont wear near as much) I have the lime, the hot pink and black. Can't wait to take these new ones to Disney next weekend! PS-- I also bought my little girl (4 years old) the hot pink and lime pair and they are soooo adorable. Literally almost all of the girls in her preschool class and dance class have a pair.

Are the Beach and/or Caymans better than the Aspen? I kind of like thier look better than the holes in front. What do you other DISers think? :confused3
