Hi,
I'm a novice at booking a cruise. I'm looking for info on booking 6 cabins for a 4night sea/3 night land. Is it better to book with DCL or do your own? What kinds of discounts are available? What excursions are there? Is it better to spend the extra $$ for deluxe resorts or concierge? If anyone has a link to deck plans I would appreciate it. Actually, any info would be great. I know nothing about cruises.
Thanks for any help.

Welcome! you have come the right place to find out information!
You might want to start at Barb and Tony's web site - www.castawayclub.com - It's a great site with a ton of information - There is also www.dcltribute.com - This is also excellant -

A lot of people here book thru Dreams Unlimited (we do) - You will save a lot of money compared to booking direct thru DCL -

Make sure you shop around for the best price. I normally always go with DU but I was a little disappointed in the quote that was given to me last time. It was the exact same as going through Disney except for a small rebate. I've heard Costco, all seas and a few others have very competitive prices. DU does have great service but do your homework. Good luck!!
