An Annual Kungaloosh Krew?

Just in case some DoES decide to take on organizing an annual get together for members of this board, vote for what month would be best for you to attend in 2008. I had chosen the "Multiple Choices" option, but apparently thats not working...sorry.

And what would be a good name for this gathering?

I like the name "Kungaloosh Kreation Krew" , but 3 capital K's is never a safe option....what would YOU call it?

Sorry, BigDaddy, but December is just too unpredictable for me living in the great white north. Pulling a trailer in a snow/ice storm just isn't my idea of fun. So I voted for October - we like it because it's nice and warm in FL, generally not too hot although it was this past trip, and usually getting cold in PA so it gives us another week or two of summer. As far as names, I just can't come up with anything clever today. I'll get back to you on that.

I voted for December because we're always there then anyway with the Annual RADP Meet and MouseFest. Can't think of any clever names right now but I'll think on it. BTW, shouldn't Krewe be spelled with the "e" on the end?

Im not tied to December for any particular reason...I just thought Id be able to choose more than one month, but the dang multiple option bit me in the booty....I'm good to go in any month that isnt above 88 degrees...man, I hate to sweat, and I aint real big on peak season crowds!!

April will be best for us....the kids are out of school the week after Easter and the temp is usually really nice in FL then. Not as much humidity, love bugs or summer storms.

What do you mean "un-official recording secretary"? You've been nominated as President and "sayer-so"...if someone (like you, des) actually put this together, I'd really arrange my vacation time around it. I used to plan all my vacation time around motorcycle rallys from Laughlin, NV to Daytona, FL....till the DW wife decided we HAD to buy a house with all these daughters...so I sold the bike, we gotta house and now Im bored. So this would be right up my alley.

I'm exactly the same way about the heat and my husband is even worse. When summer hits the south, we hibernate inside in the AC until that first cool front of late fall. He flat out refuses to ever go to WDW during the summer. We went in late April/early May this year and they had an unusual hot spell during our whole trip. Now, he won't consider May either. There is a reason we go every December. The chance of cooler temps and lower humidity. Right up our alley!

I had a real string of bad luck and got rid of the bike after I broke my 8th bone on it. The last broken bone was on a tiny dirt bike! I walked around with a broken leg for 2 days before I saw a doctor. That was in 1974! Haven't ridden since! My last airborne jump was in 1996! Gee, you're right. Life is getting boring!

I vote for the Peacock Pack. I hope I'm not voted out of this club when I admit that I don't drink either Kungalooshes or beer. In fact, I haven't drank for 20 years or so now. I do like NA beer. Can I still be included?

Oh, how about the Musket Mickey Meet? Oooh, say that fast 3 times....especially after you've had a couple of those Kungalooshes....hehe.

No etouffe, but I am cooking gumbo for a group of our RADP friends during our trip. And making Italian cream cake. Want me to save you some? There'll probably be some gumbo left, but I can't vouch for the cake. That went so fast last time, not everybody at the dinner got a piece.

I've gone down four times, Once T-Boned by a Jeep Cherokee, once on Interstate10 at only about 40mph,and twice in a Biloxi, MS racetrack...no Im not a racer, it was during a rally called the Biloxi Blow Out...fell over in the parking lot while ideling, and again right after I picked it up....man the suds were flowing like the mighty mississippi that year!!!! I limped away from the first two mentioned, bloody, but basicly unhurt, although "unhurt" doesnt mean it didnt hurt like the dickens, but no broken bones....Im a lucky guy....we didnt wear helmets in LA at that time. They are required by law now, Im not sure whats more dangerous, not wearing a helmet at all, or wearing a helmet in 98 degree weather with 80% humidity.
