Pat and Amy, you have my continued thoughts and prayers for a happy and safe delivery and some wonderful quiet bonding time with your new little angel. :D I am so excited for you! I'll be looking for Dan's update and as always keeping you guys in my prayers. Now get some sleep while you can ;) .

Thanks for the update. I'll be looking forward to hearing your news! You guys have been in my prayers since I heard your story. I'll kick them up a notch this week. Bless you all.

Tell Amy I was afraid of c-sections, too. My son was an emergency c-section after a couple of days of labor. Without a c-section I have no doubt my baby and I would have died. The doctor told me later that I wasn't dialating due to the fact that the baby couldn't press on my cervix.

Four years later, I ended up having another c-section with my daughter. Trust me, I would much prefer a c-section to two days of labor! I wouldn't have planned a second child if I didn't think I had that option, since I'd had complications the first time. If I planned to have another child (which I don't), I wouldn't hesitate to choose a c-section again. Partly because my doctor doesn't think I could deliver naturally but also because it is less stressful for my children due to the way I'm made.

To me, the videos they show you are scary, but the real thing is very exciting. The recovery is more difficult, but you'll have that precious baby girl to make that easier!

Thanks for taking the time to update us, Pat. Now get some rest because you'll need it for the next 18+ years;) We continue to hold you all in our hearts and prayers. I will also kick it up a notch and pray for a safe delivery and speedy recovery for Amy. And I will try to patiently wait for Dan's e-mail:Pinkbounc
