Amy Update 7-10-03

I have added Spike to my prayer list with you, Amy and Kimberly. It really means a lot that you take the time to update your DIS friends! Continued good thoughts and pixie dust to you all!

Glad to hear that Amy has a good set up. She must be thrilled that they have moved things up a bit. My continued thoughts and prayers are with Amy and Kimberly and you.

Wonderful updates! It sounds like you might only have 6 more weeks to get that carseat in place. :)

I'm glad Amy is getting comfortable in her new "digs". As someone who spent the last 11 weeks of my pregnancy in bed I know how she feels!! . BUT I now have my wonderful little girl to show for it!! Continued best wishes for the three of you!!!

Sounds like things are going well, thanks for the updates! From your pic, Amy doesn't look old enough to find humor in this, but I got a peak at my chart after I had my DD at age 37. Since I was over 35, my chart said "geriatric pregnancy". Kind of funny, huh? Diana

Thanks so much for the update on Amy and Kimberly, Pat! I really enjoy reading - you certainly have a way with words! You whole family will continue to be in my prayers. Hang in there!

Glad to hear things are into a routine now. Before you know it your daughter will be sixteen and you'll be wishing she was still locked in side Mommy's tummy!!!

Another good update Pat! Keep giving these good updates, we all want good things to happen!!! :)

What an unbelievable person you are, Pat!! I don't know whether to laugh or cry!!

LOL, your cat is just like my Rambo was. Old, sick and still my baby! I swear we had conversations, too!! And YES, vote off Julie!

I remember them telling me that they can only guess on the weight by the circumference of the head and some other factor. Well, they were WRONG when it came to the weight of my little guy by 4 pounds. So much for guessing!

God bless you, your adored wife and child and cat.

Thanks for the update.

I work in assisted living facilities at times. I am sure the residents are glad to see a younger person. Amy is probably a hot topic of conversation. Just think of how many extra grandparents Kimberly will have. You will have to take her back when she is able to visit to show her off. The residents LOVE to see babies.

**Cackles knowingly about Spike.** My boys talk to me too. They're my lifeline when DH is away. Hey - you should get Amy a cat! Many nursing homes allow them nowadays! (Though it would be a bit of a shock for poor Spike - "Dad, Mom's back, and she seems to have given birth to a small human and another cat.")

Glad everything is going as well as it can be. Six weeks! Getting close!

I was just wondering today how you guys were. Wondering if I missed an update. Glad to hear from you, Pat! Keep up the good spirits!

Glad to hear things are going well for Amy and Kimberly.
You have such a fantastic writing style....I can't wait to read your first trip report regarding Kimberly's first visit to see Mickey! :D

Add me to the list of folks who watch and wait for your udpdates!

I think of your family so often. It sounds like everything is falling into place and 6 weeks will really fly by.

Sending my best wishes to you, Amy, Kimberly and Spike.

Count me in as someone who waits anxiously to hear an update. As I am planning my September trip, I think if you often.

8/25 is my b-day, so I will remember to say a little prayer that day for your little Kimberly.

My husband loves the Tour de France. He'd give anything to be stuck in front of a tv for three weeks.

I love reading your updates Pat ~ ~ ~ you have such a way with words. I have been thinking about you Amy and Kimberly! Kimberly is one lucky little lady to have such loving parents! So glad to hear things are going so well. August 26 ~ ~ what fantastic news...............it will be here before you know it. Time seems to fly by anymore!!

I am keeping the three of you (and Spike!) in my thoughts and prayers. I look forward to your next update!! Take care............

Glad to hear from you Pat. Tell Amy we are all rooting for her and Kimberly.

Glad to hear you guys are adjusting! Just remember that this is all for Kimberly, and once she is in your arms, you will forget how trying these months have been!

I was wondering how it goes with you guys too. Glad to hear Amy is doing well. Poor Spike. He must be somewhat confused with all the goings on. Give him some extra loves. And I loved Carol's idea about the extra grannies and grandpas!!
Keep up the good work. When I added you to our prayer list in church a ways back, the priest wanted to know if you were someone in the church he could help. You should have seen his face when I told him you and family were 'online acquaintances'!! My dh just chuckled.
Also love your writing style. Have you thought about keeping a journal for Kimberly? Will be keeping you in our prayers.

Pat, this is the first time responding to your posts, I have followed each one. What a unique living situation your wife has! I absolutely love the elderly, she will begin to love them too and become good friends with them.
You know you must sneak Spike in to her one of these days, don't you? ;) Wouldn't that be a terrific surprise?
I plan on following each of your posts till the very end. I wish you and your wife the very best. She is in wonderful hands.
