Dear Pat & Family,

I was away from the boards for a couple of weeks and wondered how you have been doing. SO Happy to hear Kimberly's weight creeping up! Way to go Amy!

It is so kind of you to update us here at the DIS. You have touched my heart with your love for your family and how you demonstrate it to Amy, Kimberly and even Spike.

I always enjoyed your Disney posts, but your Amy Updates are written with such a passion, they will make a beautiful gift to one day share with Kimberly.

My prayers will continue for you and your family...and your car seat.

Have you ever stopped to think about how many lives have been touched by your experience? I am certain that many of the residents and their families are including your family in their prayers.

Just saw the update and I'm glad Amy is doing well. I'll bet the nurses will spoil her and Kimberly. Good luck with the car seat!

Pat - Just a quick thought about the carseat - in my town, parents can go to the police station with a carseat, and the police are very happy to help with installing it correctly. This wasn't offered back when I needed it - and I'm not so sure I always had the seats as secure as they should have been. Even if you "think" you've got it right, you might want to check and see if this is available in your town.

Also - just love your updates and hearing that Amy is doing so well. Sounds like there could be baby news waiting when I get back from Disney in August - I'll be thinking happy thoughts for you all.
