"Amuck, amuck, amuck!" A Pre-TR (link to TR in the first post)

Hocus Pocus, Tower of Terror, and Halloween Town are my FAVORITE Halloween movies..I would SO love to see your pic!

Don't you LOVE Hocus Pocus???? Now I want to watch it again. Maybe tonight. :happytv:

I need to start making some list! I am a big fan of lists. :rotfl:
I know I still need to make a trip to the Dollar Store for some ponchos.
Walmart or Target for Hannah's shoes for her costume.
Grocery store for drinks, snacks and breakfast items for the room.

If anyone has any thing that they commonly forget and they'd like to remind me of (I'm always forgetting stuff) feel free to suggest it!

Oh, and Wet Ones wipes. I read on the DIS they are better then Purell for hand cleaning.

Happy October 1st!

Band-Aids and blister soothing stuff. I'll search my brain for more.

Oh, if you like squished pennies, then if you go to Main Street inside the Penny Arcade and some money into the "Get me some pennies to squish because I don't have any pennies with me" change machine then you will get all OLD pennies. Old pennies are better to squish than new ones because they won't rust up or something. My DH was so impressed with the number of Wheat Pennies we got from the change machine.

aww Beth Im so sorry about the van situation:hug: ...want me to ask Andrea if she knows where you can take it? At a later date of course...also you should talk to your DH about looking on Priceline...name your own price baby!!

I was at Party City today looking at Halloween things. One of my favorite things to do and I saw some t-shirts I wanted to show you.

Thank you! I didn't know that. I'll keep that in mind. Oh, and I have Band-aids, but I wanted to get some moleskin.

Thank Lynn. It's just one of those headache inducing things we all have to deal with now and then. LOL

If you want to ask Andrea if she knows of any good mechanics that would be great. Whenever you get a chance. And I thought about Priceline because I've used them for hotels but I wasn't sure if I'd be guaranteed a minivan and we have to have that or we won't all fit. :confused3

I'm adding Party City to my list of errands for this weekend. Not sure if they'll have my size, but I can check. Thanks for sharing. :yay:

Ok I will ask her...

so I was sitting here with nothing to do and thought since I know well how frustrating things can be when your dealing with what you've been dealing with the van situation that you just want things to go smoothly...so Ive compiled a list of a few places and prices and options for you

first of all, I know what date you are going to leave but I couldnt remember you telling us how many days you were going to be gone for so I did this based upon a week...now if you stay less than a week well obviously the cost will be cheaper right???

Alamo, Budget, and National are the cheapest of the companies and their weekly rates for a mini van is $199 which breaks down to $28 a day...now you can name your own price on priceline but I wouldnt go lower than $18 a day...

also there is a company at McCarren terminal called Payless and if Im not mistaken, I used them one time while I was in Vegas and had no problems at all...they actually have a 7 passenger Van for $170 a week and you can sign up for their "perks program" which may give you an even lower price than offered...here's the link to their website

https://www.paylesscarrental.com/

no matter which company you choose to go with, make sure you sign up for their "perks programs"

I would decide on what company first and sign up for their perks, then find out their lowest bottom reduced rate...from there, I would definitely try Priceline and name your own price by going maybe $20 under ..Payless is on there for $167 a week so go lower than that when you ask..I mean come on, all they can do is say no and at least you still know you can go with the $167 rate...right?

Hello! ...Hello! Is there anyone out there? ...out there?

I'm waiting, for something, for anything...

popcorn::

You know, I always hear about Merced, but I've never been. I don't believe it exists, so therefore you must not exist. ;)

I'm here to appease you, Wendy!
