Amtrak transportation to and from WDW

I found a thread about transportation about a year old, which indicated that shuttle service which was once offered may not be offered anymore. What are the options getting back and forth to the Kissimmee Amtrak station from a WDW resort?

We always detrain at Kissimmee and board there also for return trip home and we always just use a cab. Fare runs about 35-38 dollars last trip, October, to WL. Run is about 20 minutes long. Most always a few cabs in the cab area but the station master will call one for you if there isn't one there. We looked into the town car services, some do run from Kissimmee to WDW, but not alot, cost wise they were more expensive so we chose the standing cabs. There are van cabs there also for the same money.

We (me,DW,twin DD4) went last September via Amtrack and arrived at the Orlando station and left via the Kissimmee station. We arranged for Happy Limousine for Lincoln Town Car transport to and from the stations ahead of time. They provided at our request 2 child seats and a 30 minute grocery stop. With the MouseSavers discount code it was $100 round trip not including tip. As an added bonus on departure our transport was actually a Mercedes S550 (a $125,000 car)

The Kissimmee station is from the dark ages and unless you are trying to jump on and get a seat by an electrical outlet like us or you want to experience an old station circa 1877 (so the window said) get on in Orlando. The Orlando station is beautiful and well maintained unlike the Kissimmee station.
