Amtrak station to offsite hotel ?

I am trying to figure out the best way to get from Amtrak to an offsite hotel near Universal. The hotel is about 8 miles from the Amtrak station. It looks to me that Hertz is the Amtrak station's rental car agency and it is quite expensive!!!

The offsite hotel has an Alamo agency, which looks to be more reasonable than Hertz.

Is there an alternative rental car agency that I can use from the station? Anyone know about cabfare?

I used AAA to book Hertz at the Orlando train station. I hope this helps.
