Amtrak from WDW to West Palm Beach

Hi, I have a few questions about taking Amtrak further south to West Palm beach.
1. Would it be better to buy tickets from Orlando or Kissimmee?
2. How much time should we allow to get there (either station)? We'll be staying at the Contemporary Resort.

Kissimmee is closer to WDW and you'll have less traffic issues getting there. A taxi/uber should take you about 45 minutes.

Also, take a look at getting on the train at Winter Haven, home of Legoland.

Its farther than either Orlando or Kissimmee from WDW, but further down the line towards West Palm Beach. This is especially true for the morning departure which leaves Orlando, then goes to Kissimmee, then heads to Tampa on the Gulf Coast, then back through Winter Haven on the way to West Palm Beach on the East Coast.
