Amtrak from South Florida to Kissimmee

I am thinking of having my elderly Mom take a train from Deerfield Beach Fl to Kissimmee to join us for a few days. She does fly by herself a couple times of year and is fairly mobile for being in her 80's. She will only have 1 carry-on. I will probably have a car service bring her to the station so they should be able to help her navigate (North Bound and not South!).

I know the stations are really just platforms. Any suggestions or concerns that I should have??
