Amtrak & booster seats???

I have searched this forum & Amtrak's site & can't find anything about this. Do the coach seats have seatbelts? If so, do they have the shoulder strap so we can use booster seats? Thanks for your help!

Used Amtrak last year to go to Disney. I dont remember any belts. I also didn't tak a car seat. How old is your child?

DD is 4 1/2 & DS is 6 1/2. They are both over the 40 pound mark for the five point harness seats that we had so have been in highback boosters. There is no point in taking them with us if there aren't any belts though. I am going to be nervous without any of us in seatbelts. Now it makes the magic transportation look even better since they include boosters in their price. Thanks!

I would be happy to sit in a booster if you include me on your trip. It is so funny the things kids remember. My daughter said the other day "mom, do you smell that? It smells like DW" I would love to go back tomorrowm but dh not for 2 years. What the **** am I gonna do? Oh well, I guess Ill have to wait. Have fun on your trip and good luck with the boosters.
