Amtrak Auto Train Discounts?

My husband and I are trying to decide to drive from MA to FL with a rental vehicle or take the auto train - does anyone know if Amtrak ever has discounts for the auto train???

Well with the auto train - the earlier you book, the cheaper it is.

They do also offer Rail Sales but these are usually last minute offers.

Right now the fares should be ok but in March or April they may be higher because of people travelling from FL to their other house.

Also offered is Amtrak tickets on ebay. Amtrak does have an ebay store but check your prices to make sure you are getting the best deal.
