The amaretto soufflé was available in royal court on the fantasy on one of the nights in our dining rotation on the 12 night Mediterranean. I have seen it on past 7 day sailings too so not just in Palo. They did also have it in Palo too at dinner.I ADORE the amaretto souffle. Is it only available at Palo for dinner?
Also, in the past I went to a dessert only seating for Palo, is that still a thing? I'd love to be able to get straight into dessert
They serve a Grand Marnier souffle in Royal Court/Royal Palace on the Fantasy/Dream. It's on the 'standard' menu for both restaurants, so should be available even on shorter sailings. It isn't quite as good as the souffles in Palo, but it's still pretty delicious! The amaretto soufflé was available in royal court on the fantasy on one of the nights in our dining rotation on the 12 night Mediterranean. We just did this a few weeks ago on the Fantasy. When we got on the ship, I went to Enchanted Garden and spoke to the manager on the first afternoon, telling him we just wanted to come for dessert one night. No issues at all. Also, in the past I went to a dessert only seating for Palo, is that still a thing?
There are have been many cruises where we tell them on the first night that we want a grand marnier souffle every night and they always bring us 2-3 with our regular desert. The Gran Marnier Souffle and I have become very close over the years.T
No, did not know that was an optionDid you sit at the bar for the dessert?
Oh thats fantastic. What was the price? We just did this a few weeks ago on the Fantasy. When we got on the ship, I went to Enchanted Garden and spoke to the manager on the first afternoon, telling him we just wanted to come for dessert one night. No issues at all.
Thats true! I am ready to eat the souffle! With Palo being a paid dinner as opposed to a fixed price event as it was originally, there is no reason you can’t go to Palo and just get dessert.
Desserts are about $8-$12 eachWhat was the price?
The WHAT you say??? Oh, dear! They're going to be taking me off the ship through the cargo doors! Thanks for the short trip to elastic waistbands! There are have been many cruises where we tell them on the first night that we want a grand marnier souffle every night and they always bring us 2-3 with our regular desert.
Palo has both a prix fixe menu and an ala carte menu. If you're ordering just dessert then obviously you'd want to go the ala carte route. With Palo being a paid dinner as opposed to a fixed price event as it was originally, there is no reason you can’t go to Palo and just get dessert.
We learned this from another family. She would always tell them on the first night and by night 2 souflee's for everyoneThe WHAT you say??? Oh, dear! They're going to be taking me off the ship through the cargo doors! Thanks for the short trip to elastic waistbands!
