I'm afraid I hurt them more than help them, Vanessa. I'm constantly knocking the poor things over, either with the hose, or my own big feet! They haven't lost any feathers yet, though.....

They get splashed by the fountain.

I was almost thinking of painting them, Patsy, but then I decided against it. I like that they're subtle, people don't notice them right away. I try not to say anthing about them, and enjoy when I finally hear someone say, "Oh look, little duckies!!" Perhaps that helps prevent them from getting swiped too!!
