Amex rewards tickets

Going to Universal this week for the first time with the family. I got tickets through American Express Rewards. 2-day Park-to-Park. What was sent are small, cardboard vouchers that I'm supposed to exchange at the ticket office for our tickets. We are staying onsite and hope to take advantage of early park entry.

Does anyone have experience using these passes from Amex Rewards? I'm just concerned that exchanging these will take an unusual amount of time on our first morning at the park.

If you are arriving the evening prior to your first day just take a short boat ride or walk to the ticket office and do it then. We switched ours out before dinner at Bubba Gump the night we arrived. Sometimes the line is long and sometimes it isn't. The folks working there are pretty efficient and it should go smoothly once you get to the front of the line. I was really surprised at how close the on site hotels are to the park entrances. It is easily a ten minute walk.

Thanks much. We get in the night before, but it will be after the park closes. Do you happen to know if you can still get access to the Amex lounge if you got tickets through Amex rewards?

I think you can use the lounge. I renewed my AP with my Amex, and when I went to the lounge, they looked up my account and said welcome. Next time we went in, they remembered us, so never had to get out the card again.
Nothing really special in the lounge. Small bottles of water and granola bars and chips -neither of which we liked. It was air conditioned though, and a place to relax and charge the phone. The hours are not very long either. I think around lunchtime to around dinner. We only hit it 2 times in our 4 days in the parks.
