AMEX lounge - in Universal Studios - do people use it?

A small lounge - refuge from the outside environment and weather.

It offers free potato chips, granola bar, and small bottles of water.

I used it with my family on the 2 days I was there (about a couple of weeks ago).

I might in August if you tell me where it is Do we just flash our AMEX to get in or what? Did you find it a nice quick break? Staying onsite so we can always venture back over to the HRH!

IIRC, you have to buy your ticket with an AMEX card to get into the lounge. Just having an AMEX card is not sufficient. And I don't know where it is.

We upgraded two of our tickets using an amex, and the receipt came with lots of info about it, telling us about it and to bring that receipt with us (along with AP and card) to use the lounge (and an approximation of how many people can be brought along). We plan on using it next month.

My mom bought our universal tickets as an easter gift for us with ger amex. Is there any way we can get into the lounge? Maybe if we have her card and reciept? Do we have to show an id with matching name on amex?

It is right across from the Shrek exit, just a single door, not well marked. Several CM did not know where it was.
I was surprised at how many people had found it. Not a huge space, but all the seats were full. The guy working was very kind. Just a nice place to grab a bottle of water and rest.
