AMEX Gift cheque cards

My bank will be getting these soon and I was wondering if anybody has had any issues using these in the parks instead of the actual travelers cheques and if they are accepted at the carts (popcorn,icecream etc) too? Ideally they seem alot easier to use then the multiple cheques..perhaps.
